Lois Quam is the founder of Tysvar, LLC, a company focused on Norwegian-American commercial collaboration and dedicated to bringing the new green economy to scale. One of her generation’s most successful executives at bringing socially relevant businesses to scale, Quam was named by Fortune magazine as one of America’s 50 Most Powerful Women for her work in creating a leading American health care company. Quam was named Norwegian American of the Year in 2005, and serves on the boards of The Oslo Center for Peace and Human Rights U.S. Foundation, the Norwegian American Clean Technology Alliance, and Americas oldest and largest environmental conservation organization, the National Wildlife Federation.
